Right to Information Act, 2005 (hereinafter Act) provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority.  Bharat Heavy Plate & Vessels, is a Govt. of India Undertaking is located at Visakhapatnam-530 012 (A.P.)

Mode of Payment

Rates as per notification dated 16.9.2005 from Director, Dept. of Person Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

 

All remittance through Demand Draft / Bankers Cheque drawn in favour of BHPV or Bharat Heavy Plate & Vessels to be sent to PIO with envelope clearly marked– Right to Information Act 2005.

 

  1. A request for obtaining information under Sub section I (1) of section 6 shall   be accompanied by an application fee of Rupees ten by way of cash against proper receipt or Demand draft or Banker’s cheque payable to the Accounts officer of the company.

 

  1. For providing the information under Sub-section (1) of section 7, the fee shall be charged by way of cash against proper receipt or Demand draft or Banker’s cheque payable to the Accounts officer of the company at the following rates.

 

     a) Rupees two for each page (in A4 or A3 size paper

 

     b) Actual charge or cost price or a copy in larger size paper

 

     c) Actual cost price for samples or models and

 

     d) For inspection of records, no fee for the first hour and fee of Rupees  

         Five for each fifteen minutes (or fraction thereof) thereafter.

 

     3.  For providing the information under Sub section (5) of section 7, the

          fee shall be charged by way of cash against proper receipt or by 

          Demand Draft or Bankers cheque payable to the Accounts officer

          at the following rates: -

     

     a) For information provided in diskette or floppy Rupees fifty per diskette

         or floppy and

 

b) For information provided in printed form at the price fixed for such     publication or Rupees two per page of photocopy for extracts from publication.

As a Heavy Engineering Industry, our company has been having a consistently good safety record due to the safety awareness prevailing amongst all employees. This should not give rise to complacency. Every effort must be continuously made to build in safety in all activities of the plant.
